In 2007-2008 Miss Jean Garrett began her 23rd year of teaching. During this time she has taught both History and English and sponsored the senior play, Beta Club, and Relay for Life. Ms. Garrett is in her 17th year of Beta Club sponsorship and her 4th as a newspaper sponsor. She has a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from Bethel College and has a son, Hunter, and a daughter, Sally. She also has two grandchildren, Hayden Garrett and Isabella Allen
