Beliefs
We believe each student is a unique and valued individual engaged in learning experiences based on individual needs, personal aptitude, academic interests, and social, emotional, and cultural needs.
We believe an effective learning process requires the partnership of students, parents, staff, and community to the extent that lines of communication are always open.
We believe a key ingredient to excellent schools is a highly qualified, motivated, and dedicated staff that focuses on best practices in curriculum and instruction, and has the freedom and encouragement to pursue improvements and innovative ideas.
We believe in continuous improvement where data analysis is critical in the establishment of priorities, utilized to provide the basis for continuous school improvement, and necessary to support positive outcomes.
We believe in a safe and successful learning environment where students develop self-esteem, self-discipline, and respect for others and their cultures.
We believe all students are entitled to an education where the school community expects excellence, where all students are able to develop his or her abilities, and where all students experience success in a changing technological world.
We believe proven practices and educational research should be the basis for program development and instructional decisions.
We believe continuous assessment and accountability of all students, staff, schools, and system is critical in the maintenance of high standards and expectations.
